Washington State

Executive Assistants Group

About Us

In 1990 a group of Executive Assistants, recognizing their unique positions in state government, began meeting on a regular basis to network, share information, and meet “face to face” with the voice on the other end of the telephone.  That was the beginning of the Executive Assistants Group (EAG) that continues to hold monthly meetings.

Over a decade later, our lives and roles may have changed, but the benefits offered by this dynamic group are still realized by those members who regularly attend meetings.  Some of the reasons our current members list for belonging to EAG are:

Networking

Sharing information

Valuable resources

Opportunity to be in a leadership role

Allows EAs to stay abreast on emerging issues

Job announcement sharing

Workshops

Quarterly evening networking sessions

Training opportunities at our Fall and Spring Conferences

Current information on the Correspondence Guidelines

Monthly meetings which allow EAs to get support and training they may otherwise not have available to them

If the above activities sound like something you would like to be involved in, please contact one of the Board Officers.
